good afternoon Sigrid, Many thanks for responding. one of our SAP servers recently upgraded to S4 Hana, so I was looking for the most effcient way to update customer details. The first that were brought to our attention were customer mail addresses. So I was hoping do find a BAPI to do so, especially ...

hi Christian, Did you try the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA , table MATERIALDESCRIPTION ? We don't have so many languages to load, but it works fine for me. ------------------------------ jan ketele release expert Xeikon Manufacturing NV ------------------------------

Hi Andrew, I think you'll need to rewrite the script with those same fields using XK02. Or you could try a Direct script, there is a Winshuttle BAPI "/WINSHTLQ/TRN_VENDOR_BANK" that seems to contain all the data you need, I haven't tried that one yet, but it should work. (Since it's a Winshuttle ...

Hi Andrew, It depends on what parameters you'd like to create/change first option, the better option in my opinion, is to create a 'direct' script using a BAPI. That will create data if it doesn't exist yet and will change data if it does. 2nd option: create a pair of transaction scripts chained ...

Hi Brijesh, Good question, I'm afraid you can't: this little script is merely preparing the uploadfile. Scheduling an upload is done by Winshuttle itself, independant of the uploadfile creation. Maybe someone else has a better idea ... best regards, jan ------------------------------ jan ketele ...

good morning Brijesh, This is how I do so: I work with read-only templates. On opening of a template, a little VBA-script checks if the filename is the name of the template, if so a new name is proposed which is the name of the template, extended with the date (Datum = Format(Date, "dd-mm-yyyy")) and ...

hi Brijesh, Since all info is contained in the Winshuttle log, the way I create a total overview of such a full upload: in a separate sheet of an upload workbook, I insert a number of formulas looking for : number of errors number of uploaded materials eventually a date & time stamp could be possible: ...

Hi Brijesh, I would suggest you copy all datafiles into different worksheets in one single Excel workbook. You create a script per dataset in a specific worksheet, chain all scripts together into one big chained script which you publish in the workbook. That should work ... rgds, jan ------- ...

Bonjour Meryam, Pourque tout le monde puisse suivre, je continue en Anglais: I'm not familiar with this T-code, but I 'm convinced that you're always better off using Direct if you have the choice. So a quick look into BAPI's resulted in: BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST you may want to give that a try ...

Hi Mirka, that's something I would do with an Excel formula in the availabililty check column on the uploadfile, the formula would look like =IF(NOT(ISERROR(FIND("Subst.",column-row))),"CH","YS"), where column-row would point at the description location in that row. hth, jan ------------------------------ ...

Hi Nart, first you save each separate script, referring to the sheet it's working on. Then, while linking those using 'chain scripts', you chose the option 'custom' on the run settings. then on the settings icon, chose ALC: All from first script': this will avoid you need to login for every single ...

Hi Nart, no, just the backslash "\" would do, if you prefer to use another character you can define that character in the Studio RUN-tab as shown in my screenshot. ------------------------------ jan ketele release expert Xeikon Manufacturing NV ------------------------------

Good morning, I think you 're referring to the 'skip indicator' : to be defined in the run tab, by default it's a backslash, but one can chose another character. Works perfectly in transaction scripts but I had some issues with it when using direct. hth, Jan ------------------------------ jan ...
