Join Thematics - MapInfo Crashes

When I create thematics joining two tables, MapInfo randomly crashes and the workspace is not recoverable. I open the .wor file in Notepad++ and the bottom portion of the file lines are deleted. Thanks Peter. That doesn't work unless you start from an area that does not have an object such as a box. I always have several text boxes and legends and images with a border box beneath them.
