  • 1.  Join Thematics - MapInfo Crashes

    When I create thematics joining two tables, MapInfo randomly crashes and the workspace is not recoverable. I open the .wor file in Notepad++ and the bottom portion of the file lines are deleted. Lots of lost work and time. What is the fix?

    Hi Bryce

    I just noticed that you haven't received any feedback on this question.

    One thing worth trying is to enable the Save Locatlly if Mapped Drive option.

    This option was added to MapInfo Pro after several customers faced issues with creating incomplete workspaces. It makes MapInfo Pro save the workspace file locally before copying it to the actual location where the workspace should be saved.
    Can you see if you have this option checked?
    You can find it via the Home tab, Options, System, Workspace.
