Thanks so much Hammad, this is very helpful. I am working with the custom rule that you provided, and had a follow up question. Based on some functionality I implemented in the parent form this is going into, I need to now also reset fields which might not have default values defined. Examples include ...

Hi all, I am trying to implement a rule to reset all form fields to default values if a form is routed through a particular step in a workflow. I would like to avoid having to create a rule that needs to call out every specific field if possible. I have tried using a custom rule using document.g ...

Thanks for the reply Hammad. Unfortunately, we will potentially have the same naming for attachments across different processes. I tried using the Create Folder plug-in in the parent to create a folder the same name as the Parent process name) followed by a Copy Attachments plug-in, but the latter ...

Hi all, Wanted to see if anyone knows of a way to pull attachments into a form from a separate process. Up to this point, I've used the Copy Attachments plug-in which is more of a "push" activity, where the plug-in must reside in the process that has the original attachment. The issue that I ...

Thank you both for the quick replies. I have been using a single form view for certain approvals downstream in the workflow, but it shouldn't be a problem to create individual views for these specific approvals if that's the best approach. Thanks again! ------------------------------ Alex Kuligowski ...

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up a rule in an Evolve solution to execute on form load at a certain approval step in the workflow, but then disable that rule on subsequent nodes in the process. I did not see any plug-ins or approval node settings that were tied to enabling or disabling rules, but ...

Thanks both. We do have the ability with Administrator roles to re-assign, however I was primarily interested in options for an end user to re-assign a task - assigned to a person, not a team - already in their task list. It sounds like this is not possible though without using team assignments. ...

Thank you for the reply Hammad. I do have the Reassignment Allowed setting to "True" for the approval nodes I am testing (attached, please let me know if not the same setting). Even so, I do not see the "Reassign" option in the Actions menu when viewing the task in the Tasks list. I only see an "Open" ...

Hi all, Is there a way for a standard user to delegate an Evolve task for an individual process which has already been assigned? I'm familiar with the delegation options under the user profile/settings, but as I understand it those re-assignments can only go down to the solution level, and are also ...

Hi Sigrid! Yes, these are separate solutions that I have linked in a parent/child relationship, however I'm using the form process launch plug-ins rather than the form hierarchy element. This approach seemed a little better suited for our business processes and more closely aligned with how users are ...

Hello! I'm developing a parent-child solution in Evolve 20.1 using the form process launch plug-in. I'm able to pass multiple form fields to the child process with no issue, using the autosync setting, however I'm unable to transfer file attachments from the parent in the same way. The attachments element ...
