Hello

Wondering if anyone has run into this. Since upgrading to S4 Hana, and now using the BP code to create customers and vendors (instead of XD01/XD02), we lost the ability to use the long text feature in Studio. IT has just maintained BP in the /WINSHTLQ/LTXMAP table in SM30, so I can now see the long text options, however, I am receiving an RFC error when I try to create/test a script. IT is not familiar with this table and is asking what the proper text objects should be as BP does not hit the KNA1, KNB1, KNVV, KNVK tables like the XD codes did. 

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

yes, that's my understanding. The "add longtext feature" needs the right T-Codes and the right entries in /WINSHTLQ/LTXMAP and /WINSHTLQ/MANDTX.

I am curious if you were able to get a resolution. The last I tested BP, I found that this does not fully work.

In fairness, It was never released as a supported Tcode but we have tried hacking it by updating the config table.

Turns out only the BUT000 piece works, not the KNA1 and KNVV texts.

I still have IT looking into things on this side. The support case I submitted hasn't been very helpful, so I'm using info from this post as well as support to try to piece it all together. I'll be sure to post how we land in the end.
