One of our clients has done the same Rebecca, and the search field is actually a combination of three fields, id, name and address so the user can search for any of these and it will return a result...what I really like about this is that the results make more sense when they have the other context data ...

You can use MapInfo Raster to reproject to the projection you want. It might be worth investigating reprojecting into MRR format for convenience and speed as well.

Im not sure i understand completely. So if we previously used jar files to store custom symbols, with 12.2, these jar files will no longer work? Or will these jar files still work? I noticed that with 12.2 being able to create tables/layers, when choosing a style for a point, custom symbols are available. Does this mean that we no longer have to create jar files for any custom symbols of our own we create and if not, where would we place these to allow them to be available for ...

I was under the impression that only one thematic map could be uploaded from MapInfo at a time, if it was working from the same table. But i might be wrong!

Hi Andy, I probably should explain better! Is this the option button where we access the template designer? If not, how do we access template designer? The 12.2 manual isnt totally clear, it just says the option button.

Hello, I am having an issue with basemaps after we upgraded to 12.1.An example is when pulling up a map configuration with just a basemap, the screen is blank until zooming in one level. Any thoughts as to why this might be?
