Hi There, Ive just tried this again with a brand new excel file I just created. I tried to open the file and nothing showed up in Mapinfo. I then try again and it is says file is already open. No tab file is created. Again, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Jacqueline

Dear Shweta, Thank you so much for looking into this. It must be something related to my MapInfo configuration or install if you can open it but I cant as Ive tried again with a brand new empty workspace and the same happens. I cant go to Close All after I open the table as these are greyed out. ...
