Hello, Have MapInfo patches been discontinued for version 16? It looks like the last one I see is 16.0.4. Thanks. ------------------------------ Chris Clukey Senior Planning Analyst Mount Carmel Health System Columbus, Ohio USA ------------------------------

If you don't care if the boundary lines are the same, you could just make the black boundary line thicker or the red/blue lines thinner. Are the blue/red polygons based on the same geographic boundaries as the black, or are the blue/red polygons freehand? I'm wondering why there as much overlap between ...

Hi Richard, If you want to remove the black line that touches the red and yellow polygons, you probably want to select the yellow and red polygons and "combine objects". Once that layer is created, you can overlay that on the larger green polygon. If you want the separate colors for those polygons, ...

Hi Peter, Another great tip and trick regarding Voronoi polygons, particularly the history of the terms. While Voronoi polygons use traditionally Euclidean distances, is there a way for the software to produce Voronoi polygons based on a street layer? I have used another third-party software that ...

I'm wondering if anyone  could tell me how to toggle MapInfo Pro so that one can view 3D images with 3D glasses. During a training seminar a few years ago by a third party vendor, he showed me a sequence of keys to make it happen and I forgot to jot it down. Appreciate any feedback. --------- ...

Is there any way to make the image from the original Map window that is pasted onto a prism map "cleaner'? Anytime I create a prism map, the roads, city labels, etc. from the original map window are very grainy. Thanks. ------------------------------ Chris Clukey Knowledge Community Shared ...

Our organization recently transitioned to Office 365 and I've noticed that when I want to bring in an excel file (.xlsx) for thematic mapping, it produces an error: The workaround apparently is bringing it in under the old .xls format. The version I'm currently using is 16.0.4...has this ...

Do you have any best practices creating a hot spot density map using the thematic mapping option, i.e. for those of us that do not have the MI Pro Advanced license??

First off, the vendor said they do not plan on creating a 64-bit version. As far as functionality, we use it for both creating drive time polygons as well as O-D matrices. Will GeoZone be MBX or an add-in to purchase??

Unfortunately the MapInfo program freeway.mbx will not work using the 64-bit version. While the stand-alone program can still be used, it will create many more steps in order to create drive time polygons. Is there anyway to have backwards compatibility added into a patch, or as a part of MapInfo ...
