Yes, you are right, there is a command to load the data directly into SQL Server. I was trying to make that work a few hours now. Unfortunately, ogr2ogr documentation is not the best I've seen and somebody has to do a lot of try and error.  Even if I make it work, I still have to run the shell program ...
