Peter, I actually did try the direct write to the MI table while linked and couldnt get it right. I dont know if I missed something or had a wrong instruction, but it didnt go smoothly. Andrei, 1) I dont run a traditional MBX program. We run a DLL on top of MapInfo executable and we only use MBX files to load menus and icons/tools.
