Our shop has started to use tokens for authentication of service accounts used lets say reading a database, or calling an api. wanted to request for enhancement where new Assure versions to be able to use some token technology vs the typical basic auth in jndis sources and API calls to Assure.

May we request for REST API calls to Assure API be able to use tokens as part of its authentication options? currently, the documentation only says basic authentication is used.

Can this url http:// /casapi/services/GetControlPointResult retrieve certain records if the record is provided thru the api call? If File ABC with count of 10 is in assure control data, can API retrieve this specific info as a response back to the API?

Hi Gerard, Is there a way i can try out my existing application user? Since we have our SSO enabled, the application user fails if i use it to login from url. I want to make sure my password is correct before i redeploy Assure application to integrate with D360.

Since we are using SSO/SAML to authenticate our users in D360, do we need to create a service account that will act as an Application user to serve the purpose of it being the "Application" User for integration with other systems like Assure? Thanks Jarrar. I found it. It was being set as a property variable under the environment settings of Data360 DQ+. And the full URL was there to be found. Thank you for your help.

I think I found the issue. I missed deleting the data view data. The rest I deleted except the data view. So, I believe what happened is, it reported the previous test data I've ran with.
