Location Powers Data Science Summit

The Location Powers: Data Science summit will be November 13th and 14th, 2019 at Google in Mt View, CA, USA. 

OGC organizes the Location Powers series of summits to bring together industry, research and government experts from across the globe into an interactive discussion that assess the current situation and produces recommendations for future technology innovations and standards development.  

The Location Powers: Data Science summit will consider the explosive availability of data about nearly every aspect of human activity along with revolutionary advances in computing technologies is transforming geospatial data science.   An aim of the summit is to recommend developments that will lead to meaningful outcomes.  

While the complete agenda is not yet set, a theme-based plan and multiple speakers have been confirmed. The summit is organized in five themes: Foundations, Analytics, Ripe Trends, Outcomes, and Actions to Take.
