  • 1.  Winshuttle Studio 20.x no lookup dialogboxes shown in SAPGUI logon

    When I  start an recording in i.e. MM01 ( Winshuttle Studio version 20.2.8 (32 bit) build number 220328002 installed from WInshuttle 12.x ) a lookup dialog for possible options in any of the fields are not shown. The dialogbox is empty. We use SAP logon version 7700.1.7.1161 version 2133993 SP-Level1. If I close winshuttle however and logon using same environment (mandant 220) , same username and I then enter MM01 transaction everything works fine. With other regular users the option dialogboxes also works fine. It look like WInshuttle is not getting the information from SAP. Please advice since we urgently need the recoring functionality .     Good morning PP Wortman,

    could it be that this is an authorization issue?

    Could you try to set up an authorization trace via ST01 or STAUTHTRACE?

    Hi PP,

    Please open a support ticket for this.

    While this should work, best practice is to not use lookups while recording.  Walk through it once ahead of time in the SAP GUI, and the history of values will be available when you record it.

    Thanks for sharing, PP!   Glad you have a solution.

    My setting was already set for System defaults, although I don't recall changing it.  I'm not sure what the default is for this.
