  • 1.  Size limit for attachments in Evolve and Special Characters in Evolve

    In Winshuttle Foundation due to SharePoint we had controls to keep Attachments size below 50MB and we had rules to change special characters %$#@ to underscores. 
    Do we need these same controls in Evolve?

    Hi RTX Polley.
    You can still upload files above 50MB.
    NOTE : uploading files of this size takes a lot of time to upload and download. 
    I tried uploading a file of size 88MB, it took me approx 4mins to route the form with this attachment and the form had no other fields just the attachment controller
    and 9-10mins to download it from documents page.
    Also if you are trying to post this file to SAP, SAP has an upper limit of 100MB on file size.

    And yes you still need to remove special characters from the filename else you will receive error :
