  • 1.  RFC_SAVE_TEXT limited to 132 characters

    Posted 02-01-2023 04:47
    Hi,

We are creating a new solution to create long texts on outbound deliveries.

The RFC_SAVE_TEXT is great, however I don't understand how to add more than 132 characters.
Does anyone have a good solution for this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Olga,
I haven't tried this yet, but you will probably find an answer on it here: https://community.winshuttle.com/search?s=RFC_SAVE_TEXT&cs=null&l=1&expanded-categories=undefined

Thank you for your reply Jan,

It seems from the comment on the template that the same issue we have was also experienced by someone else in the community.

    Hi All

IDK about deliveries, but sales orders can go over that character limit.

BAPI fields - ensure you fill in client, too.

Hi, further to this post from earlier in the year. We are running this solution now but appears the run log is only capturing the same message 'No message is returned by SAP' even when documents have not been updated due to being in process already when the solution runs. Can you advise how to capture the correct "error" in the run log using this RFC_SAVE_TEXT solution? Many thanks
