  • 1.  Pop up prompt not being selected before saving

    Guys

    I have a script that was created for our new S/4 HANA system to update the purchasing and MRP Views. It runs fine but just before saving, the pop up prompt box appears and doesn't select "Yes" as per the recording. I can't see anything wrong?

    and have re-recorded the steps exactly but looks identical to the original I created. The script works fine in our DEV and QA environment but not in Production. 

    Can anyone shed any light on what I need to do to get this final ending working as it should please?

    Hi Andrew

    Based on your screen shot, it looks like it should work, but each system is different.

    You might try to run it in Debug mode to see why it's running differently in Prod.  You may also check with your Basis team to see if they have made any changes in Prod that haven't made their way to dev/qa.

    Hi Andrew, I recently had a similar issue and after connecting with Automate support I ended up changing the settings in Evolve for the production system to set is as test and then allow me to record the small part in production, this was our only way around it. Timing of when to do this may be an important factor, although could be an option for you.

    Hi Andrew, it was a temporary change of the server type from production to non-production (tricking the system to allow to record in the production system). It was a last resort although worked well as carefully managed the timing.

    Thanks for the prompt reply. I did run n debug mode but it just wouldn't process the final [YES] confirmation although it worked fine in DEV and QA systems. I'll wait for Kelly to respond below as she may have a solution for this.
