Hi Julie,
You can use AutoSaveInterval key to Autosave the form, refer: Workflow Configuration Options • Automate Evolve User Guide • Welcome to the Precisely Help Center
But this takes arguments in minutes, so you have to leave the form open for at least a minute.
Alternatively:
You can tweak the code a bit, but make sure you have proper backups, please follow steps below:
- Log on to Evolve server.
- Go to path: C:\Program Files\Precisely\AutomateEvolveServer\ui\assets\workflow\js\lg
- Take backup of svform.js
- Open the file and search for method: handlePostDraftCreation
- Comment the goBack() method so that the code looks like below screenshot.

- Save the file. clear browser cache and test the scenario.
NOTE: Make sure to take backup of the mentioned file, before making changes. Also, this will be reverted once you upgrade your evolve setup as this will not be included in any Evolve GA release, so you to make these changes manually after upgrade.
Hope this helps.
Regards

Subject: Is it possible to auto-save a form without the task being closed
We have a form for Material Create that has a lot of scripts that run and would like that after each script completes, it auto-saves the logfield data before the next script runs. I know we have the "Save" feature that saves the data and closes the task, but they would like it to save the data without needing to close the task and reopen it again. Is that possible?
