  • 1.  How to add a wait between running a query and executing a rule to do a Copy Table Data in Evolve Solution

    Posted 12 days ago

    Hi,

I'm trying to run a Query using the Query Element and I want that Query to finish running and then execute a "Copy Table Data" that uses the results of the query as the condition filter.  I have them in one rule running after each other but the Copy Table Data isn't working and I believe it's a timing issue??

    Hi Julie

I usually put the rule on the logfield of the script, so that once the logfield is populated - successfully (not if it begins with Err) - to run whatever rule(s) come next.  Have you tried that?

    Best Regards,

    Hi Julie

One other thing to look at is the Ordinal number on things like web services and queries:  https://help.precisely.com/r/Automate-Evolve/Latest/en-US/Automate-Evolve-User-Guide/References/Web-Service-Element-Properties

It will tell it which order to run in if you are kicking these off on form load or based on a rule.

    FYI
