  • 1.  Excel file wont load into another system unless we open it?

    I am using d360 to create a number of excel files, which we then upload into another system from a 3rd party vendor... the strange thing is, these file will NOT load unless we open the file first, then close it... then they work fine. Any idea?

    Which version of the Data360 do you use?

    In 3.8.4 I had the issue that Power BI don't read excel files created in Data360. I needed to open excel file and save it. Then it worked fine.

    In new version this issue is repaired.

    Tried again using a template that I know loads ok... still doesnt load until I open the excel file and close it again

    Hi Jeff,

    The release notes for Data360 Analyze v.3.10.2 includes the following item in the 'What's New' -> 'Other changes' section of the document:

    "Ensured that xlsx files generated by the Output Excel node will only use Zip64 by default. This also resolves compatibility issues whereby xlsx files generated by the node could not be correctly read by other software products, for example - Power BI."

    The updated operation will also be included in the new LTS version of the product - v.3.12.1
