Introduction
EngageOne Compose Server has inbuilt user role management to drive approval workflows for interactive templates.
This is important for environments where template interactive users may vary in their abilities, their tenure at the origanisation, the importance or significance of the template or the EO Community in which a particular template or set of templates are hosted.
The approval workflows with the Compose Server environment ensure that a custom defined set of reviewer(s) can be configured as required to physically review and approve (or reject) interactive templates as they are created prior to delivery.
All workflow approvals & rejections can also be captured within the Compose Server auditing Event Monitor for later analysis.
Configuration of the approval workflows is carried out in three or optionally four areas within EO Compose Server Administration, so a suitable Admin level user is required to be able to perform and manage these steps:
1. Users & Groups in the Active Directory (LDAP) to define Admin, template editors and template reviewers.
2. Role Mapping of those users/groups within Compose Server.
3. Creation of Review & Approval Workflows
4. Optional Template specific Workflow Associations
5. Testing
