    Why does Assure send emails with subject "You have 30 new alerts in your inbox" with body of the email looking like the below?  Is there a way to turn this off?  I ask because this email is confusing the users and they're asking me what it is.  I did not create it, so I am wondering the same thing.

    The body of the email looks like this:

    Subject

    Total amounts do not balance

    Counts do not balance

    Counts are out of balance!

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Total amounts do not balance

    Counts do not balance

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Counts are out of balance!

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Counts are out of balance!

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Counts are out of balance!

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Counts are out of balance!

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Amounts are out of balance!

    Counts are out of balance!

    This doesn't follow any result template I created, so I don't know why Assure is sending this.

    Hi Renee,

    Within the "preferences" screen, you can disable emails for your ID :

    Based on your description, it sounds like you may have a scheduled task generating these :

    Is the email sent once a day? During a certain time? For specific controls? Knowing the answer to these will help the team identify which task to shut off from the "scheduler" window.

    I found the answer myself in the Assure system administrators guide section entitled "configuring email alerts".  It explains the two styles of emails Assure sends out and the difference between the two.  I sent this info to the users and am waiting to hear if this answers their questions and clears up their confusion.
