Yes - users will likely need to update their default library destinations in Automate Studio. Here's why:

When a user sets up a default library destination in Automate Studio (via App Options), that setting references the App by its display name. Since Evolve surfaces Apps by name in the Studio interface, renaming an App in Evolve will cause the previously saved library destination to either show the new name (if synced) or become invalid, requiring users to re-select their preferred library under the renamed App.

There is no automatic sync that silently updates user-level App Option settings in Studio when an App name changes in Evolve. This is a user-stored setting and not dynamically resolved from Evolve upon the name change.

1. Solution Import/Export - Connection Name Sensitivity

Apps to which a solution is imported must have a connection with the same name as the connection in the original app; if they do not, the connection name will not be recognised, and you will receive an error when you deploy the solution. Solution connection names are case sensitive. 

While this specifically pertains to connection names, it highlights Evolve's sensitivity to naming conventions within and across Apps. If any scripts or workflows reference the old App name (e.g., in import/export routines or API calls), those will need to be reviewed.

Additionally, for the import and export of an Excel workflow, the SAP Server Connection name (bound to the Studio script in the source app) should match the name in the destination app. 

2. Library Structure Remains Intact

Solutions are placed within libraries. Before you create a solution, ensure a library for that solution type exists. The good news is that libraries and solutions within the App are not deleted or restructured when an App is renamed - only the App's display name changes.

3. Default Libraries Created in the User App

In the User App, the library names and library types below are created by default:

• Excel Workbooks (Excel Solution)
• Forms Library (Form Solution)
• Queries Library (Query)
• Reference Data Lists Library (Reference Data)
• Transactions Library (Transaction) 

These default libraries persist after an App rename, but users may need to re-navigate to them under the new App name in Studio.

4.App Options in Studio - Users Must Re-Set

In Automate Studio with Evolve, users configure their App Options (including default library/destination) via the Studio client interface. When an App is renamed:

• The App Options panel in Studio will reflect the new App name
• Any previously saved defaults pointing to the old App name may no longer automatically resolve correctly
• Users will need to open their App Options in Studio and re-select the appropriate library under the newly named App

Since there's no automatic sync for user-level Studio App Option settings, the most impactful step you can take - beyond communicating the change ahead of time - is to guide users to update their default library destination in Automate Studio after the App rename goes live.
