Data360 Analyze

Hi there,

Will Data360 Analyze support DBT scripts?

Dbt is more and more use to generate sql code and we have seen other ETL tool supporting the Dbt run.

It would be nice to use Data360 to automate Dbt scripts.

Product enhancements need to be submitted to the Precisely Product Management team by creating a new idea on the Precisely Ideas Portal. This will enable the Product Management team to review the enhancement and, if it has potential, the idea can be voted on by other customers to enable the team to better understand the need for the feature and infer the relative prioritisation of the enhancement. It will also enable you to receive notifications when the idea progresses through the the stages in it's evaluation and delivery.

In the meanwhile, if you have enough developers, you can take the compiled SQL found per object in the manifest.json file. Depending on how you have set it up, this might be also available via http if you are using Azure. We are able to fill in the table to table transformations missing by de default database harvester by doing this. There are some cleanups of this field required, but then it can be added into the ddl extracted from the database.
