Data360 DQ+ 12.2.1 maintenance release - Single Tenant only
We are pleased to announce the availability of the 12.2.1 maintenance update for Data360 DQ+, applicable to single tenant customers only. It can be downloaded from the Precisely Data Experience Platform.
This release brings several improvements and fixes to enhance your experience. Here are the key highlights of this update:
- AWS Deployment Size Optimization
The application WAR file size has been reduced to enhance AWS deployment reliability. This update addresses deployment failures related to AWS file-size limitations, such as instances where necessary JDBC drivers could not be included in the packaged WAR. The optimization ensures consistent and successful deployments within AWS constraints.
- Enhanced Debug Logging for Server Performance
Production server debug logging has been refined to improve performance. The configuration now filters out verbose Netty byte-dump logs that previously affected data-transfer operations, such as those occurring when Assure DQ pushes data to a Data360 DQ+ data store.
- Accurate Application of Kafka Execution Properties During Rebuilds
During an "Execute-Rebuild" on analyses utilizing Kafka streaming input sources, the execution properties dialog now correctly displays and accepts dynamically generated execution properties for encrypted Kafka parameters. Users can select and successfully submit offset options (e.g., latest or earliest), reducing accidental selection of unintended offsets and supporting performance tuning and replay scenarios that require explicit control over Kafka consumption positions.
- Improved Reference Date Handling in Process Models After Upgrades
Process models using the External Start Event node now offer more reliable reference-date conversion after upgrades. This resolves issues that previously caused process models to stop shortly after upgrading and ensures downstream analyses initiate as expected.
- Other Fixes: This release also addresses a few bugs. We fixed an intermittent error that prevented some users from viewing dashboards and corrected a search filtering issue that sometimes showed an empty results list despite records being present. With these fixes, the interface should feel more consistent and reliable.
