  • 1.  BAPI/RFM for creation of GL Accounts

    Does anyone have any recommendations for a RFM/BAPI for creating GL accounts? I've found GL_ACCT_MASTER_SAVE but it isn't remote enabled and I've seen GL_ACCT_MASTER_SAVE_RFC but when I bring it into Studio, I don't see any tables.

    Hi Josh,

    I haven't used this RFM, but GL_ACCT_MASTER_MAINTAIN_RFC looks like it might work. There is an activity field to create, change, or display.

    Thank you for responding. I did see that RFC but when I brought it into Studio, it didn't bring in any structures for the mapping data.

    Sorry, I missed the difference in the RFM name. I looked at the RFM you listed (GL_ACCT_MASTER_MAINTAIN_RFC) and I can pull it into Winshuttle, but when I run it I get an error that the RFM is on SAP's RFC Blacklist at least in our version HANA 2020. So I'm guessing there is a vulnerability or problem with the RFC.

    Hi Josh,

    Thanks for checking it and following up. I looked at GL_ACCT_MASTER_SAVE_RFC in SE37 and see there are tables/structures, but I don't see them in Studio either. I recommend opening a support ticket because that RFM is remote-enabled so it should work in Direct.
