I am trying to create a BAPI script to update the Lock Indicator for Actual Primary Costs and Actual Secondary Cost.

I am using the BAPI_COSTCENTER_CHANGEMULTIPLE to try and achieve this.  I am somewhat new to using BAPI in Winshuttle.

Any insight on this would be apprciated.

    Hi Steve,

Bravo for trying to use Direct with BAPIs. Once you figure it out, you will want to use it more. :)

Can you share where you are?  What questions you have?  I probably have an example somewhere but would like to understand where you're stuck.

    Best Regards,

    Sigrid

    Hi Sigrid,

I ended up figuring it out.  We are using this to migrate companies from our ECC environment to S4.   We have been creating the cost centers and have been blocking the posting until go live.   The tables have an X in them as a block.   So we are entering a period (".") to clear the X.   We have 5 company codes going live next month with a total of over 250 cost centers.   The plan was to have someone manually edit each cost center.   Very time consuming.   We tested this script in our QA system and it took less than 15 seconds to run.   You can also use this to block postings as well.

Have a look and see it you have any comments.

    Hi Steve

Great that it's working for you & thanks for sharing! And the time savings is wonderful to hear!

Typically it's " " (space) or "X" for those checkboxes.

I'm happy to take a look at it later today/tommorrow, but if it's working for you, that's all that matters.

    Best Regards,

    Sigrid
