    Hello,

    I'm trying to confirm this.  If we schedule a script to run within Evolve, does this script run in the background of SAP for posting?  Our Basis team is asking as we are going to be updating a large number of records in a short timeframe.

    Hi Jamie,
    Our script does not launch the SAP UI during execution. Instead, it transfers the data to be posted directly to our custom Function Module installed within SAP. This Function Module handles execution based on the selected script mode, such as "Batch", "Non Batch with controls", "Non Batch without controls". We also support execution via BAPIs.
     
    As a result, data is not posted interactively through the SAP UI; instead, our Function Module processes it in the background.
     
    For posting large volumes of data in a single operation, we recommend using the "Precisely Autorun" plugin, which allows data to be supplied via Excel for efficient processing.
