    Assure iTERA 6.2.29.00

    Announcement

    Precisely announces the release of Assure iTERA 6.2.29.00. This release provides either a new installation or an upgrade from all previous service pack levels of iTERA 6.1 and 6.2.  

    Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure iTERA.  Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated Release Notes.

    How to Download and Activate the Assure iTERA Software

    To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

    Run the Install Wizard on a Windows PC to install the software and apply license keys.  Other options to install and apply license keys are documented in the License Manager for IBM i Products manual.

    Summary of Feature Additions or Changes 

    • License Manager 10.0.28.00 is included with the following:
      • New Work with Product Authority (WRKPRDAUT) panel to manage Product Level Security (PLS) information (10.0.24.00).
      • The *SAVSYS special authority for the LAKEVIEW user profile will be removed during the upgrade processing of License Manager because it is not needed (10.0.24.00).
      • New Product Level Security (PLS) distribution capability, providing export and import functionality for managing PLS settings across multiple IBM i nodes and installations (10.0.26.00).
    • There are 4 fixes in this release.
