I just ran the update myself by right-clicking on MapInfoProBingServicesUpdate.exe and then using Run As Administrator. That works fine.
As I recall, the patch is looking through the registry for install paths for MapInfo Pro. Maybe these paths are for some reason empty or wrong?
Have they reached out to our support team?

Subject: Bing maps 2021 update: critical issue (MIPRO 2019.3)
Hello, many customers I follow are unable to update Bing maps (extend license until December 2022).They are users who have installed the 2019.3 version of MIPRO, when they start the executable file MapInfoProBingServicesUpdate the system returns the message:
"The installshield wizard has successufully run the MIPRO Bing Services Update. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
Unfortunately the MIPRO Bing Services Update was unable to locate a valid version of MIPRO tu upgrade.
You may not have an applicable version of MIPRO installed on this system. Please install the appropriate software and run this update again. Thank you."
The licenses are OK and there is a match with the product id and access code written in the windows registry.Have you also had the same big issue these days?
Thanks.
Michele
