MapInfo Pro

Hi,

The only was I can find a way to refresh the layers offered within a WFS connection is to close MapInfo and open it again.  Is there a quicker way?

Hi Nick,

Have the same issue, the refresh button next to the table name in Explorer works for me.

That refreshes the data in the layer but does that also refresh the available layers in the Open WFS dialogue box:


Client is using Spectrum to serve up corporate layers via WFS to remote Pro users who don't share a mapped drive.  Every time we add another spectrum table to the list we have to close Pro and re-open it to see it in the list.

Apologies Nick, my misunderstanding.  Those settings appear to be stored in the users profile in an XML file that is created the first time the Web Services are opened, and seems to persist until MapInfo is closed.  Think it would need a button adding to re-evaluate, which would be useful.

Hi Nick

For WFS, I seem to recall that you can go back to server settings and change the version to "Prefer version 1.0" click OK, and then go back again and switch to "Automatic".

I think this forces MapInfo Pro to reload the capabilities document.
