If you try to load a 32-bit DLL in 64-bit MapInfo (declare sub ....) you get the error message, that it is not a 32-bit DLL. Obviously the error message should be that it is not a 64-bit DLL.
Hi Uffe,
Is this one of the existing MIPro dlls or is an addin? I am trying to load 1 of the existing dlls and the error message I get is " Not compatible with this version of MIPRO".
Shweta
It is a small test application, my own code and my own dll, screen dump is from 16.0:
I don't know if MI is able to magically recognize its own dll's, but in the generic case, the error message is misleading.
Okay, I get it. The error message is coming from MIPro and needs a correction. Filed it as a bug. Thanks for pointing this out.
