How can I edit/change poly lines that are cul-de-sacs in Routefinder ver. 5 network analysis. I have have streets that intersect other streets on both ends but they are showing up as cul-de-sacs. This prevents routing on these streets.

    You will have to edit the street network, so the streets snap at both ends. A reason for missing intersecting with other streets could also be due to incorrect Z-levels, if you use that.

    I did try editing the street network by making it editable and selecting the nodes a used the snap tool under Objects but it didn't seem to work. Also my Z-levels are turned off. Is there a step or method of snapping I could be doing wrong?

    Hello Peter, If this is a commercial dataset sold for routing then go back to them and tell them it is not a Link and node network.? Failing that you can try Polybreak tool in MapInfo - that in theory will create the breaks at the junctions.

    Hi Martin, The file is an Open Data sidewalk file based on the street centreline for the City of Toronto. I added polylines to this layer representing a new development proposal. I didn't use the digitizing tool in PolyBuilder which might be the problem. I did use the Polybreak tool under Map as you suggested and it got rid of all the errors in the new lines I created and generated a file layerfilename_clean. All the erroneous cul-de-sacs between joining lines were removed when the polybuilder removed the 45 intersection flags. Thanks for your help.
