  • 1.  How about a Format Painter function like MS Excel?

    I love the "Format Painter" function in most Microsoft products. You highlight a section of text or cells with a style you like, click the Format Painter and then click other areas that you want to look like the original.

    It would be great to have this type function in the Layer Display. You have a layer with certain display settings you like, and can copy the settings to another layer.

    As far as I know, attribute copying is not possible without a mapbasic extension.

    If I understood your request correctly, for map objects, you could use MapCad tools to Copy and Paste styles.

    I think MapCAD tool extension still works in MI16.
