There have been significant efforts by Noosa Council to reduce the impact of flying foxes around Noosaville's Wallace Park. This map identifies the properties affected in 50 meter buffer zones from the "Bat Ground Zero" area of Wallace Park.
Council provides direct help to those residents that include subsidies to reduce the impact of damage such as, covers for vehicles and clotheslines, air fresheners for houses/cars and free access to high pressure water cleaners. This map identifies households that are eligible for subsidies.
