    The details about this map are explained in the image itself. My idea was to test my artistic abilities, which as I say, are limited! However I wanted to make a nice output map from MapInfo Pro v17.0 and also test some of the MapInfo Pro Advanced tools in the process.

    As an interesting visual test, do you see red as higher elevation and yellow as lower? Take another look. The importance of the correct colour schemes can be more than just artistic, in this case I have reversed the colour table. This shows the power of mapping, at first glance you may come to a different conclusion about the terrain, decision making based on visual prompts requires careful thought.

    Yeah, I have used that color scheme as well. I really like it and it works quite well on a dark background map.

    @Peter Horsbøll Møller? agreed, the option to create a greyscale version of the Bing Imagery via the explorer window makes it easy to create the dark looking aerial image map!
