For most of us, our MapInfo Pro workspaces are critical to our daily workflow.

They can be extremely complex and detailed and can easily throw errors for a variety of reasons.

Fortunately, MapInfo Pro has some tools and features to assist in keeping those workspaces safe.

It can be extremely problematic if a problem occurs with MapInfo Pro BEFORE a user has a chance to save their workspace.

MapInfo Pro has some new functionality to assist.

See this article that discusses MapInfo Pro's new "Auto Save Workspace" and "Backup on Save" functionality.

This new functionality was highly requested!:

MapInfo Pro ships with a very powerful tool to assist in backing up or migrating your critical workspaces.

The tool "Workspace Packager" can backup your workspaces to a chosen folder, the contents of which can then be archived, burned to disk, etc. as well as allow user's to migrate entire workspaces, including copies of all tables that make up the workspace, to another machine, without having to edit the PATH locations of the table copies!

The power and convenience this one tool brings cannot be over-estimated:

I think there may be a problem with this link? It's taking me to a page that states Invalid Page with just the PB header and footer?
