    According to Gartner, just 9% of businesses use location intelligence software today. It's an amazing statistic given every business has a marketing department and that retailers make up more than 12% of all businesses.

    However, Gartner predicts that by 2021 this number will grow to 36%, quadrupling in just 4 years time! Sounds like a great time to be in the GIS field!
