I am looking to find information about DWS and modified monash category. Where I can download tables?

Hi Dinar, Thanks for the question. We have some folks hunting down an answer for you. I did a quick search (as you probably did) and did not find a source.

Hi Dinar. This information is downloadable from a website called DoctorConnect. It is available in CSV which can be linked to SA1 geographic boundaries in MapInfo or as SHP files.

Hope it is what you were looking for. Note that the reference geography according to the file information seems to be the Census 2011 SA1 level rather than the new SA1s which go along with the 2016 Census. Will need to be matched against the 2011 SA1 boundaries. Assume that they will update to the 2016 Census SA1s in due course.

You mean Modified Monash Category?

Just another quick question when I open DWS_2017_SA1_GP&Specs, this file could be combined only with new SA1 borders right? And does Y mean yes it is DWS and N that its not?

Hi Dinar. Yes the MMM is provided at 2011 SA1 level. It would seem that the DWS is at 2016 SA3 level. The data is not produced by PB but my assumption would be that a Y value would mean Yes and N would mean No.

The DWS file seems to reference the DWS at SA3 level but provides the SA1 information as well (even though the SA3 is the core unit). When you download the GIS version and view it in MapInfo it shows that the boundaries are a match to the 2016 SA3 boundaries.
