  • 1.  Scheduled Task through API

    We are on D360 version 3.6.8 on some servers and on 3.4.3 on couple of servers. 

    On servers where we have 3.4.3 we have jobs running through API.

    We also had this working on servers on servers which has 3.6.8 now but it was working when it was 3.4.3. With 3.6.8, we get the error saying "not a simple scheduled task". Is there any licensing to be enabled to using this running through API ?

    Can you please advise?

    On documentation it is mentioned as "

    To access the Simple Scheduled Tasks API the AutomationServices license feature must be enabled and the API user must have the maintainSchedule feature permission specified as part of their role."

    What is the specific API that is being used?

    The Simple Scheduled Task v3 API is now deprecated in v.3.6 but should still be operational. The Simple Scheduled Task v4 API should now be used instead of the Simple Scheduled Task v4 API for new and current projects.

    Earlier versions of the API (e.g. v2) are not supported.
