  • 1.  Carriage Returns in Documentation/Tool Tips

I've noticed when creating a new property there's the option to write in the "Documentation" section which the user can use by hovering over the Property name to reveal a tool-tip. I've started using this functionality as it's a really useful way to convey instruction. However I've been having a hard time making my documentation readable as I can't figure out how to create carriage returns/paragraph breaks. If I format the Documentation field as I need within the property definition, it seems to remove a lot of the spaces when I see it in tool-tip form. Is there a specific keyword I need to write in the Documentation field in order for the carriage return to display in the tool-tip?

I've noticed the default properties (eg. CurrentTime) have tool-tips which are properly formatted with both bolding and carriage return so I assume these are both available for custom properties as well? I'd be curious to know how to apply the bold format if it's accessible as well please!

You can use standard HTML tags in the tooltip text to bold text and create new lines. so <b> and </b> enclose bold text and <br> will insert a new line.

See the Advanced topics > Defining properties topic in your integrated Help or the equivalent in the online Help for the latest version of the product here:
