Is the documentation in need of an update or am I missing some config on my end? I am logged in as admin but I don't see the "Authentication" section of Settings.

    Hi Oliver,

Access to functionality in Data360 is controlled by your license. You can check the license type by using the 'i' button and selecting the Licensing option.

The pop-up licening panel displays the license type, licensed features, restrictions, etc:

SSO/LDAP functionality is one of the features provided by the Data360 Analyze Enterprise Server edition.

Thanks Adrian, I can confirm our license here shows the single feature "Automation Services".

    Surprised because

    • documentation explains SSO as a feature but at no point mentions it's restricted to only certain licenses; indeed the word "enterprise" doesn't appear in the docs at all except in reference to other software (e.g. RHEL)
    • we'd made clear at pre-sales and throughout procurement that SSO for Analyze was a critical feature for us i.e. we would not be able to use the software in Production without SSO implemented

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Hi Oliver,

I have passed your comments on to our account management team so they can contact you directly.

The documentation reflects the superset of the capbilities that can be provided by the various product editions. Some functionality is only available in certain editions, with the Enterprise Server edition being the most capable. There is a brief notice in each of the version's "What's new" page and "Release history" pages that notes the features are subject to license constraints - e.g. here. The product description provides greater information on features available in each edition.
