I'm using the Send Email node to send notification once my job is done, but it shows connection timeout error when I run the node. Does anyone know what the issue it is? 

Is there any firewall software that could be blocking the connection?

Have you confirmed the connection settings are correct for the SMTP server?

The node provides the 'SmtpServerConnectionTimout' property in the Exception Behavior section of the properties panel. The timeout is set to 60 seconds by default. You could increase this value to see whether the node can then establish a connection.
