  • 1.  Excel file error

    Hi,

    Just want to check if anyone has a solution for the issue that I'm currently facing...

    I have included the excel file which I'm trying to read, as well as a screenshot of the error.

    I don't have a solution for the issue at this time but you may be able to work around the issue by opening the file in Excel and then saving it as a new file (that worked for me).

    Is the file being generated by a program/system other than MS Excel?

    Looking at the internal structure of the Excel file, the embedded 'theme1.xml' file contains Chinese Unicode characters, including one that may not be encoded correctly:

    The xml in the file is being declared as UTF-8 but the typeface value does not appear to be valid UTF-8 data. Can the bad data be corrected at source?
