    Hi,

    I have created a Property at Data Flow level called "Company Name". I have a filter node in the data flow that I have also added the "Company Name" property.T=that I would llke to inherit the flow level value.

    The filter node property does initially inherit the value of the flow level parameter, but when I change the value of the "Company Name" property at flow level, the filter node property does not change from the initial value, unless the initial value is deleted.

    How can I get this inheritance to be dynamic?

    Hi Mick,

     

    I tried this on a test system and could not reproduce the issue.

    Selecting the existing text in the data flow property and typing in a new value then either:

     - pressing Enter and clicking on th Re-Run button

     - only clicking on th Re-Run button

     - using <Ctrl>+<Shift>+R

    all resulted in the blue spinner icon being displayed in the Data Flow Title bar (indicating the data flow change was being stored) and then the green play icon being displayed (indicating the data flow was running). In all cases the updated value of the Data Flow property was used by the Filter node.

    The tests were performed on v.3.6.3 - what version are you using?
