    Hi 

    we have desktop version of data 3sixty anlyzer and would like to understand if the same dataflow can be accessed by multiple users at the same time?

     

    also if the two users commit the changes to the same dataflow at the sametime, do the tool have version control from desktop version ?

    The Data360 Analyze Desktop edition is a intended for use by a single user on the machine. Even when the 'Install for All Users' option is selected during the installation of the software the product can in reality only be used by a single user as all users would share the same data flow storage repository. No version control is provided by the product so data flows would need to be exported to the file system an .lna files. This directory could be synchonized with an external version management system e.g. Git to implement version control.

    The Data360 Analyze Server product provides individual workspaces and collaborative workspaces for multiple users, and provides permissions-based access controls.
