  • 1.  print a graph / save an image of a Data3sixty graph

    Hello all

    I would like to print the image of a D360 graph as it was possible to do with the BRE
    I don't find a solution except print the web page which is absolutely inexpoitable for a complex graph
    Does anyone have an idea or something to share on this topic?

    Hello,

    Perhaps it is not the best solution, but I print the flowchart using the customize and control Gloogle Chrone settings, printing it in PDF. First I collapse the panel by clicking the edge, then from customize and control Google Chrone, I select print.

    Good approach to solve the problem for small flowcharts that can be drawn on a screen area (method equivalent to a screenshot)
    But this doesn't fix the issue for large graphs...

    As you say, there is no built-in functionality for printing a data flow so printing the screen image is really the only mechanism. At some point most mechanisms to generate a print-out will result in the information being unreadable when there are many nodes on the canvas. You may want to consider grouping related sets of nodes into Composite nodes. This would allow you to print the top-level logic and then drill into the composite to view the detail of one section of the logic and print out that to a separate page.

    Using Composites to group sections of the logic may also help to make the logic more understandable to others.Obviously, the benefit of this approach depends on the specifics of the data flow, including the level of interconnections between nodes.

    Thanks for your advice, but I already use composite nodes, for the global logic and even with this method of processing, the graph is too large to be printed and readable on a screen copy.
    The best way to solve this problem would be to include built-in functionality for printing a data stream. It seems to me it would be useful to name many users :-)
     
    The product is good. But it tastes like a cake where the cooker forgot the toping cream: it still lacks many "small" features such as the printing of a graph, the display of labels (boxes), the possibility of choosing the complete display or not of the out-pin label ...
    May be in a future version? ;-)
