Hi Frank, welcome to Data3Sixty Analyze!

you can output the first N records in a data set using the Head node, which can be found in the Logistics category.

There are some introductory tutorial videos available via the On-demand Training page of the website.

The integrated Help has been overhauled for Data3Sixty Analyze - click the information (i) button on the main menu bar. The Help provides a section on Getting Started, just un-collapse the Getting Started navigation heading to view the available topics. You will probably also be interested in the information in the Migrating from LAE section. The documentation for the latest version of the product can also be viewed online here. You can use the Search functionality of the support portal to help find forum posts and knowledgebase articles.

You are already in the community forum for Data3Sixty Analyze. As with any community it depends on its members to be engaging and relevant. We would encourage you and other community members to ask questions about the product and, where you can, to be more involved by adding your knowledge to help answer other members' questions.

    Regards,

    Adrian

Hi Adrian, the Head node helps to get the first N records, as well the Tail node helps to get last N records. he is interested to know the Top N records. I believe, for that purpose can be used a calculate field node, defining a condition based on a specific field.

If the requirement is to get the Top N by value then the simplest way is to use the Sort node to sort the data by the selected field descending and then use the Head node to extract N records.
