    HI  experts,
    I use Studio 12, our company is going to upgrade office 2016 to microsoft 365. Does it require any additional steps in order to continue with winshuttle addin in EXCEL?

    Hi Radoslav -

    With moving to Office 365, Studio still requires a local installation of Excel. There are different types of licenses for Office 365 so you would need an E3 or E5 type of license.

    Hi Radoslav,

    My company upgraded to Office 365 after Studio/Foundation were installed and we haven't had any issues with scripts/queries executing through Excel. You shouldn't see any changes.

    Hi, 
    You can see the supported MS Office versions for Studio 12 in this link. Office 365 is supported with license types E3 and E5.
    System requirements, Studio v12

    After installing, sometimes the COM addin may not be visible, so it has to be manually enabled. 
    1. In Excel, click the File tab, and then click Options.
    2. Click Add-Ins.
    3. Click the Manage box, click COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
    4. Enable the add-in for Studio and Save
      • The WinshuttleStudioAddin is for Studio 11.x and later.
    If you run into any further issues, I advise you create a Support ticket.
