  • 1.  VA42 Header Detail identifier

    I have developed a script ot change line item details on contract using loop function. Now WInshuttle created two lines identifying Header and Details. If need to update 8LK contracts and in order to be able to do so, I will need to create 8K  header records and then associated line items. Is there as way to avoid this and just have records with line items and run winshuttles cript without identifying header row?

    Hi Sunil Dev,
    I use VBA to transform a flat list of entries to a list with header and data lines to feed into that sort of Winshuttle scripts.
    I never use VA42, but making lists with header and data lines in general is quite easy with VBA scripting.

    Jan is correct.  Or, run the updates without a loop, but that means each line item will be a call to SAP to update the contract.  I believe you didn't want to go that route, so reformatting is the way to go.
