  • 1.  Filter function is not working in CK94 recording

    Hi All,

    I am trying a transaction recording in WS Studio for transaction CK94. During recording, Filter option is not working while recording the transaction. Manually Filter option works. I tried to record by selecting the column and use the filter during the recording but unable to make it work. I couldn't find a way to bring the item that I want to update. Any thoughts on a way to go to particular item?

    Please find attached script that I was able to record with filter by selecting the column but that function is not getting captured in the script.

    Hi Anand,

    which recording mode did you use?
    If you want/need to use the filter options then use the Batch Input Mode.
    Otherwise you might get a pop-up which is not filled.

    Sorry you're having issues with the script. 

    I took at look at what you created, and it seems that it's not capturing you selecting the column by clicking on the column title.  Tcodes in different functional areas vary as to what is possible with a standard recoding mode.

    I looked around for some type of code or short cut key, and there isn't one.  It may be you have to use GUI scripting to accomplish this.

    I also searched on SCN, and some people are using CK91 instead.  IDK if that will work for you or not, however.

    Hi Sigrid,

     

    Thanks for looking into this issue. CK91 will not work for us. We have to use CK94 and this is becoming urgent for us as we need to update the mixed costing for so many materials in couple of weeks. We will try GUI scripting.

    FYI, I am still working with our basis team to enable GUI Scripting. Our Basis team said that Winshuttle article doesn't specify what kind of GUI scripting access is needed. They also had a question if runners need to have both read and write access for GUI scripting. Do you have any input regarding this?

    Hi Anand

    I agree that GUI scripting is the way to go for this tcode, mostly because SAP isn't capturing the column selection and the filter relies on it.
